In 2004, a tourism cluster network was formed as an initiative of the Jamaica Exporter’s Association. The consortium of just over 60 firms, committed to a project designed and supported by the Jamaica Exporters Association to promote collaboration, trust and cooperation amongst players in Jamaica’s Tourism industry. Operating from a small island with much to offer the international market, the firms within Jamaica’s tourism industry realize the importance of working together to maintain and build our country’s competitive advantage. The firms of Unique Jamaica work together to ensure that visitors experience a truly authentic Jamaica with special memories to last a lifetime.
After months of extensive research, the Tourism Cluster developed the Unique Jamaica program to package and promote the diverse elements, of its tourism product.
Jamaica has long been recognized as a destination for ‘sun, sea and sand’, however many of its greatest natural and cultural assets remain relatively unknown to travellers.
Now finally, through Unique Jamaica, visitors can access the island’s hidden treasures – its intimate hideaways, diverse natural resources, exciting events, flavourful foods, and authentic culture and music.
