Our motto “ Out of many, one people” truly captures the spirit of our nation. A diverse mix of many cultures makes Jamaica a one-of-a-kind destination. This eclectic mix of peoples and culture has produced not only an interesting populace, but also a cluster of companies, marketing Jamaica to new segments of the travel trade.

Unique Jamaica includes allied members representing: hotels, bed & breakfast accommodations, restaurants, eco- & geo-tourist attractions, air and ground transportation, tour operators, tour guides, integrated marketing communications, public relations & event management companies.

Over 60 private-sector companies continue to collaborate: identifying and implementing strategies to attract new travelers to Jamaica. The aim is to exceed the expectations of the guests by delivering a product that is authentic, interactive and unique.

The tourism cluster works under the auspices of the Jamaica Exporters' Association (JEA).

The consortium caters to three niche markets of the Nature Adventure Segment:

Jamaica Naturally has as its focus soft adventure experiences such as: hiking, birding in the Blue Mountains, horseback riding & water excursions.

TASTE IT: CULINARY & AESTHETIC EXPERIENCES
Taste of Jamaica features the culinary flavours, food festivals and Jamaican arts & craft.

FEEL IT: HERITAGE & CULTURE
Roots Jamaica highlights Jamaica’s rich cultural heritage showcasing reggae music concerts, folk music, classical folk dance, drama and much more.

At the heart of Unique Jamaica is a commitment to responsible tourism, which supports local community efforts and has a keen interest in environmental tourism to conserve Jamaica’s precious natural resources. With a passion to expose Jamaica’s beauty and natural resources, Unique Jamaica engages in sustainable tourism policies to ensure that the product benefits both the guest and the people of Jamaica.
